Anthony Orlando

Mr. Orlando was named president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Covanta Holding Corporation in October 2004 and was elected to the Board of Directors in September 2005 of which he serves as a member of the Public Policy Committee. Previously, he had been president and CEO of Covanta Energy since November 2003.

Throughout his nearly 25 years of tenure with company, Mr. Orlando has served in numerous leadership roles. In 2003, he served as senior vice president, Business and Financial Management of Covanta Energy. From January 2001 until March 2003, Mr. Orlando served as Covanta Energy's senior vice president, Energy-from-Waste. He has also served as executive Vice President of Covanta Energy Group, Inc.
