Linda J. Fisher

 Linda J. Fisher was elected as a board director of Covanta Holding Corporation in December 2007 and is chairperson of the Public Policy Committee and a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee.

Ms. Fisher is vice president, safety, health & environment and chief sustainability officer for E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company in Wilmington, Delaware. Prior to joining DuPont, Ms. Fisher was deputy administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency. She serves on the Board of Directors of Resources for the Future. She is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Environmental Law Institute and the Board of Trustees of The National Parks Foundation.
