Throughout 2011, Covanta Energy employees from around the country participated in numerous community events and programs. Covanta has a long history of interacting and engaging with communities on environmental projects related to waste disposal and recycling as well as volunteering to assist food pantries, sponsoring community programs to provide relief for the needy and taking part in beautification projects at local parks, fishing ports and playgrounds.
