Covanta Corporate Employees Volunteer at Morristown (NJ) Community Soup Kitchen

As part of Covanta’s Clean World Initiative, the corporate headquarters in Morristown sponsored the Community Soup Kitchen on July 8, 2011. Covanta provided all of the food to serve a balanced meal for up to 300 homeless, working poor, disabled and elderly guests, and 20 Morristown employees from various corporate departments volunteered for the full day process of preparing, serving and cleaning up the meal. An office-wide food donation event was also held.
